Save During Explorer's Bible Study Curriculum Sale!
 When I
evaluate curriculum one of my tests is whether my children want to
do the work without reminders. If I ask them to do a lesson and they end
up doing several, I consider that product to have passed. The Discovery
level of the Explorer's Bible Study passed! It is a Bible study program
that is very suited to homeschooling.
Not only do my children enjoy doing the lessons, but I see many other
benefits. The verse "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His
righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you." from Matthew
6:33 comes to mind. For while the students are seeking God through their
Bible study, they are also given word meanings for difficult words (you could
use these for a vocabulary study), reading comprehension practice, and map
studies. There are suggested memory verses and students are encouraged
to write them in a journal. The self-directed
student workbooks are wonderful for the homeschool setting.
If you have students in upper elementary through high school, you can select a
topic for the family and use the appropriate level workbook for each
student. While the Discovery level is designated for grades 3 to 6, you
could also use it with 7th and 8th graders who are late bloomers and need to
work on reading comprehension. One
feature I appreciate at this level is having the scripture selection printed
in the workbook. The student can concentrate on studying scripture, not
flipping between books.
The Explorer's Bible Study Curriculum uses the New King James Version Bible.
